The second auction is over, and two more of Kurt Westergaard's cartoons were sold together at a hefty price.
One of the two was Westergaard's first attempt: A poster for Frederikshavn art Museum from 1994. This one is referred to as "1/1", because it was Westergaard's first Mohammed cartoon and the only existing version.
The other cartoon was "2/2", which is indistinguishable from the "2/1" that was sold a fortnight ago, as well as from 2/3, 2/4 and 2/5 that are currently being auctioned off. The only discernable differences between these five "originals" are variations in colour.
